From a young age, Cora has been intrigued with the human body. She has an intuitive nature and has been fascinated with the body's ability to heal from seemingly impossible circumstances. This fascination led her to pursue a career in Massage Therapy, a practice in which she has turned to personally in the past and believes in very strongly. Cora takes a holistic approach to Massage, meaning that she views the human body not only from a physical aspect, but strongly believes the emotional and spiritual aspect of ourselves play equally important roles in our overall health and well-being. She believes in working with each individual to give the body the movement and balance it needs to promote self-healing. Through manipulation of tissues, bones, joints, nervous systems, cranio-sacral fluid, organs and the fascia that surrounds and affects every part of the body, balance can be achieved and a unique treatment is created for every client. After graduating from the WCCMT 3000 hour program, Cora has worked with a variety of clientele, from elite athletes and multiple MVA clients to Fibromyalgia and chronic neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions. She encourages clients take an active role in their health care and will work with you to develop an individualized homecare strategy that works for your lifestyle.
Cora has taken continuing studies in Fascial, Cranio-sacral therapy and Visceral Manipulation. She plans on furthering her knowledge in these modalities, as well as completing the Bachelor of Health Sciences Degree over the next few years. Aside from Massage Therapy, Cora has experience with competitive horseback riding of over 10 years and enjoys photography and various arts and music.
