Bodhi has been practicing massage therapy since 1993. He spent first half of his carrier in Ontario were Bodhi was a member of faculty at a massage therapy college were he taught at and headed up the orthopedic treatments department and clinical assessment. Bodhi has developed numerous continuous educational courses for practicing RMT’s.
His clinical experience is wide-ranging and involves being a part of a multidisciplinary team in a rehabilitation hospital, serving as a independent assessor performing Medical and Rehabilitation Assessments, to working with professional and amateur athletes.
Bodhi is the principal investigator for a Cochrane systematic review looking at massage for mechanical neck disorders. He is a part of a group that has published numerous reviews looking at conservative therapies for neck disorders in the Cochrane library and other journals.
At the present Bodhi is the research department chair for the Massage Therapy Association of British Columbia (MTABC). He is the past vice president of the MTABC and is a past board member of the regulatory College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia where he also sat on various committees.
This considerable experience is the accumulation of 16 years as a registered massage therapists working with thousands of patients and their various needs. Bodhi uses this extensive research, education and clinical experience with each patient he works with.
In his free time Bodhi enjoys spending time with his growing family exploring the natural beauty of BC. Being married to a classically trained opera singer has given him considerable appreciation for the art seen in BC.
